Across rural India, countless bright and capable students are forced to abandon their dreams of becoming engineers, doctors, or business leaders—not because of a lack of talent, but because they cannot afford quality schooling or coaching. The path to competitive careers becomes inaccessible long before they even get a fair chance to try.

 

This gap is not just a personal setback for these children; it is a loss of potential for entire communities. When a child’s ambition is limited by circumstance rather than ability, the entire society misses out on the innovation, leadership, and growth that could have been.

 

This is where Dela Trust wants to make a difference.

The name Dela comes from the Santali word meaning “let’s go,” —a call to move forward together. Dela Trust currently operates in Jharkhand, mainly in the Santal Pargana region, where many students face these exact challenges.

Our vision is to help rural students turn their dreams into reality by giving them the coaching and guidance they need to prepare for exams like engineering, MBBS, MBA, and even civil services. We believe that if rural students are given the right support and resources, they can appear for these entrance exams with the same confidence as students who come from more privileged backgrounds and have access to better education, coaching and guidance.
